SINCE 1981
IBERIAN TRADITION
In 1981, while Pablo Picasso's Guernica arrived in Madrid and we Spaniards were already beginning to vibrate for the World Cup that was coming up a year later, the city of Salamanca received a very special guest: Generoso García.
It was then that our father founded, together with our brother Julio, Ibéricos Torreón. Previously and for more than two decades he had a good teacher, Bernardo Hernández, our grandfather, with whom he learned the trade in Guijuelo. Years later, with experience and accumulated knowledge, he incorporated it to Torreón.
Today it is us, Chus and Laura, who continue to build the legacy that our father left us. A difficult challenge that we face every day with the greatest enthusiasm and professionalism that the Iberian product deserves.
LEARN MORE ABOUT TORREÓN:
OUR SOUL
Raised in the greatest possible freedom, the Torreón Iberian pig enjoys long walks and a diet centered on acorns.
We look for the regularity and excellence of our hams and shoulders. This is only achieved due to the constant improvement of livestock processes, the careful selection of genetics and the privileged location of the pastures.
ARTISAN ELABORATION
Our artisans shape Iberian hams and sausages, turning them into gastronomic jewels
The adaptation of our human team to new times, without neglecting tradition, has been the key to producing a high-quality product, free of allergens and respectful of the environment.
THE EXCELLENCE OF THE PRODUCT
The control of what happens in the meadow together with the traditional elaboration of our Iberian artisans brings with it an exceptional product that is recognized in more than 40 countries.
