It is not just another spoon recipe, it is a fantastic winter dish that is also enjoyed in warm seasons, because this rice recipe goes well at almost any time or circumstance. Today we prepare Iberian Soup Rice , which is also included in our spoon recipe book.
Ingredients
- 300 g of round rice
- 50 gr Torreón Iberian morcón
- 80 gr Torreón cured blood sausage
- 1.2 liter of ham broth
- Laurel
- 50 g tomato sauce
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 unit of Torreón Iberian secret
- Saffron, to taste
Elaboration
Chop the garlic into fine brunoise, and put it in a pot with olive oil to sauté. Then, add the bay leaf, the morcón and the cured blood sausage chopped into small cubes; and also the secret seasoned with salt and pepper and cut into thin strips.
Now add the tomato sauce and let it cook for 10 minutes to caramelize and make a good sauce.
It's time to add a pinch of saffron and, immediately afterward, add the pearlescent rice with the sauce.
It's time to add the ham broth and let it cook over medium-high heat, covered, for 12 minutes.
When that time has passed, your soupy rice will be ready to enjoy with its intense flavor and soft texture.
