This month we have had the pleasure of organizing the FIRST CONVENTION OF TORREÓN WORKERS, an event that the company has organized with great enthusiasm and with the primary objective of recognizing and thanking the great work that all our employees do.
The event was held on July 5, 2022, with the participation of all the workers of Ibéricos Torreón, sales representatives, administration and factory personnel.
The most emotional moment of the event was the delivery of the CAREER AWARDS, with which the Management wanted to recognize 21 employees for having completed 10, 20, 30 and 40 years of work in the company.
Ibéricos Torreón is a company with a long history, which is why it has a very solid and long-standing workforce, in which good treatment and job satisfaction are very important values, which are cared for and promoted. In fact, most of the recognitions were received by people who have been part of Torreón for more than two decades.
The FIRST CONVENTION OF TORREÓN EMPLOYEES was also the perfect setting to offer a tribute to José Martín Simón on his retirement, after 41 years working with us.
And the recognition did not end there. In addition, two other prizes were awarded: the Best Colleague Award 2022 and the Best Worker Award 2022.
In the 2022 Best Colleague Award, chosen by the workers themselves, there was a tie. Héctor de Castro and David Amores were the winners.
The 2022 Best Worker Award, designated by Management, went to Maribel Pérez, our Quality technician.
And, of course, the best way to end the meeting was by savoring exquisiteTorreón Iberian products . So, after the awards, we enjoyed a tasty cocktail in which we could taste some of the best Iberian creations made by our Chef Javier Fuentes.
The truth is that after everything we have experienced in recent years, we really wanted to organize an event like this, to find ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere and get out of the daily routine.
It was a relaxed and emotional event; a good opportunity to foster camaraderie, cohesion as a team and, at the same time, interpersonal relationships.
Now, we look forward to next year's Torreón Convention.
