This month, we had the pleasure of organising the FIRST TORREÓN EMPLOYEE CONVENTION, an event we arranged with great enthusiasm and, above all, with the aim of recognising and thanking all our employees for their outstanding work.
The event took place on 5 July 2022 and brought together the entire Ibéricos Torreón team, including our sales, administration and production staff.
The most moving moment of the event was the presentation of the LONG SERVICE AWARDS, through which the management team recognised 21 employees who have dedicated 10, 20, 30 and 40 years to the company.
Ibéricos Torreón es una empresa con una larga historia, por eso cuenta con una plantilla muy sólida y de largo recorrido, en la que el buen trato y la satisfacción laboral son valores muy importantes, que se cuidan y potencian. De hecho, la mayoría de los reconocimientos fueron recibidos por personas que forman parte de Torreón desde hace más de dos décadas.
La PRIMERA CONVENCIÓN DE TRABAJADORES TORREÓN fue también el marco perfecto para ofrecer un homenaje a José Martín Simón por su jubilación, después de 41 años trabajando con nosotros.
And the recognition did not end there. In addition, two other prizes were awarded: the Best Colleague Award 2022 and the Best Worker Award 2022.
In the 2022 Best Colleague Award, chosen by the workers themselves, there was a tie. Héctor de Castro and David Amores were the winners.
The 2022 Best Worker Award, designated by Management, went to Maribel Pérez, our Quality technician.
And, of course, the best way to end the meeting was by savoring exquisiteTorreón Iberian products . So, after the awards, we enjoyed a tasty cocktail in which we could taste some of the best Iberian creations made by our Chef Javier Fuentes.
The truth is that after everything we have experienced in recent years, we really wanted to organize an event like this, to find ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere and get out of the daily routine.
It was a relaxed and emotional event; a good opportunity to foster camaraderie, cohesion as a team and, at the same time, interpersonal relationships.
Now, we look forward to next year's Torreón Convention.
